Student Voice

Venn Boulevard Centre has a student council.

The student council is part of The Venn Academy Trust commitment to give students a voice and to help all students make a positive contribution to school life.

The student council represents the whole student body with the help of the school prefects and form leaders.

The student council meets on a regular basis to discuss everyday project updates. When the council is ready to submit a project, representatives go and present their ideas to the Head teacher and Governing Body for support.

The role of the student council is as follows:

  • to discuss concerns over facilities, rules, uniform and the curriculum;
  • to fundraise for larger whole school projects;
  • to raise concerns from their particular key stage;
  • to be involved in the interview process for new staff;
